Atmospheric alt‐rock group Malo Zima are today unveiling their debut EP Cornerstone and it’s an incredibly impressive effort from the Brisbane five piece.

Conceived in an artistically inclined share house and evolving from bedroom jams based inspired by their mutual love of Radiohead and Grizzly Bear, the band soon developed into a five piece producing a sound rich in thick sonic textures, free-flowing rhythms, and alternately tuned guitars.

After locking themselves in a studio for far too long, the quintet have finally produced a stunning EP which displays the band’s penchant for melancholy and all the noise that comes with it.
