The Melbourne Zoo Twilights program for 2016 has been announced, presenting 14 shows across Friday and Saturday evenings starting Friday, 29th January and running through to Saturday, 12th March, inclusive.

This year’s lineup presents a diverse array of some of the best local music talents in the country, as well as an international guest or two, including the likes of The Waifs, Josh Pyke, José González, Kasey Chambers, and more.

The Zoo Twilights program’s efforts to fight extinction continue this year, after a successful year of developments with the Eastern Barred Bandicoot. In 2016, the season’s proceeds will once again go towards saving this little marsupial.

Tickets to all shows include full access to the Zoo before the show begins: arrive early and wander among the many exhibits before you settle in for a night of great music. See lions, tigers, elephants, meerkats, lemurs and more in the incredible surrounds of Melbourne Zoo.

Melbourne Zoo Twilights is also a fully licensed event, with a selection of delicious meals, snacks, coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and deserts all available for purchase in the Taste of Twilights dining zone.

General tickets go on sale 8am Thursday, 22nd October 2015. Zoo Members will receive their zoo discount (10%) off tickets for the entire Zoo Twilights season. Visit the official Melbourne Zoo Twilights website for more details.
