Young indie rock crew Osaka are sharing their attention commanding debut single ‘Vessel’. Consisting of 18 year-olds: Edvard Hakansson, Gilbert Hulme and Jack McKenzie, the trio met in high school homeroom class coming together after they realised their mutual love and obsession for music and watching live concert videos.

Sonically ‘Vessel’ clearly references the band’s love for modern day indie rock heroes like The Strokes, Foals and Phoenix while still managing to channel Osaka’s own youthful uniqueness.

Recorded with Malcolm Besley (Client Liaison, City Calm Down, Snakadaktal) ‘Vessel’ is am impressive introduction to a band we’ll no doubt be hearing a lot more of in the future. For more info on the guys check out their Facebook page.
