The Soundwave 2016 lineup drip feed is finally coming to a close, folks, because the full lineup is set to drop tonight. That’s right, the full Soundwave Festival 2016 lineup will be in your hands by the end of the night.

But in the meantime, organisers have added yet another name to the ever-expanding lineup. Ladies and gents, please welcome Nothing But Thieves, the 12th and latest name to join the Soundwave lineup.

“I cannot wait, I’m so excited!” frontman Conor Mason told triple j‘s Veronica & Lewis about the band’s first trip Down Under. “I’ve looked at Soundwave over the last few years and just to be part of that rock scene and especially in Australia.”

Soundwave began slowly unveiling lineup names some months back, already confirming appearances from Bullet For My Valentine, Dead Letter Circus, Failure, Refused, Northlane, Lordi, and Bring Me The Horizon.

Having experimented with a two-day format for their last instalment, Soundwave Festival 2016 will see Australia’s premier hard rock and heavy metal event return to the single-day format, hitting up venues in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

Meanwhile, after months of sleepless nights and wild rumours, the Soundwave 2016 lineup will finally be announced in full tonight at 8.30pm AEDT. Make sure you stay tuned to Tone Deaf, we’ll have the full bill as soon as it drops.
