Made up of Arne Heeres (guitar and vocals), Thomas Junaedi (bass guitar) and Giulio Albanese (drums), rock trio Magnus open the box of social perception with their unique blend of genres crossing between oddly timed stoner jazz and rock with a dash of goth – think an amalgamation of Nick Cave, Queens of The Stone Age and Led Zeppelin.

Magnus means “the great” in Latin or “powerhouse” in old Norwegian, and the Sydney based power-group live up to the expectations of their name with the release of their new single ‘Pandora’.

Today the band are premiering the video for the single, which you can check out in its animated glory below. To celebrate the release the band will also be playing a show at Frankie’s Pizza (50 Hunter Street, Sydney) on Wednesday November 18. Info on the band’s Facebook page.
