Set against the backdrop of Sydney’s bustling music scene, These New South Wales is a hilarious new six-part web comedy series that follows the journey of the eponymous band as they attempt to become the most visible and influential Australian punk band ever.
The series comes courtesy of Born In The Sauce and was produced by Ben Timony; stars Jamie Timony and Todd Andrews; and Callum Van De Mortal (Vice), with mentorship from Laura Waters (Summer Heights High) and Jeffrey Walker (Modern Family).
The laugh-out-loud funny series plays like Spinal Tap meets The Office and is jam-packed with cameos from Aussie musicians, including Kirin J Callinan, DMA’s, DZ Deathrays, Sticky Fingers, Palms, and many more.
The show, which was impressively shot in just six days and completely improvised by the talented cast, has already received a nod from triple j, with the TNSW members appearing on Matt and Alex’s breakfast show this morning complete with their iconic nipple tape.
