The folks behind the ingenious GiggedIn platform, a crowdfunding service specifically designed for live gigs, have just unveiled their equally inspired new venture, GiggedIn Infinite, which works like Spotify for live music.

GiggedIn Infinite is a live music subscription service, which gives you ‘unlimited access’ to live music events on-demand for a monthly fee. The service recently launched in Sydney with a raft of gigs already being advertised.

How does the service work? Well, remember how we mentioned it’s like Spotify for live music? GiggedIn Infinite works similar to the streaming platform. You pay a monthly fee of $35 and you can then browse for available shows and RSVP to the ones you want to attend.

Among the shows that recently became available in Sydney are performances from British India, Bag Raiders, Yolanda Be Cool, Tex Perkins, Crooked Colous, Miami Horror, and more. You can sign up for the free seven-day trial to check out more.

The list of events becomes available once you sign up and can take advantage of the service’s Browse function. According to the website, the “earliest shows are made available to our subscribers is 2 days before the actual event date, at 12pm”.

Most intriguingly, the website also claims that “access to sold out festivals and high profile arena shows will be available every now and then”, which is definitely something any music fan would want to get in on.

After you’ve chosen the show you want to attend you can RSVP. You can only RSVP to one show at a time, with your limit resetting after you attend the show you’ve RSVP’d to or you cancel your RSVP (you have up until 5pm the day of the event).

Make sure you choose wisely, however, as allocations for the available gigs are limited. GiggedIn infinite works on a first in, best dressed system and if you don’t turn up to a show that you RSVP’d to, your account will be locked out for 48 hours.

After you’ve RSVP’d to your chosen gig, you’ll receive a unique code via email. When you turn up to the venue on the night, simply show your code at the door along with a copy of your ID for verification. Then proceed to mosh the night away.

For those looking to bring a friend, GiggedIn Infinite + 1 will let you bring a plus-one for $65 a month. The only bad news is that the service is currently only available in Sydney. However, the company has plans to expand to other Australian capital cities soon.
