Having been announced as part of the stacked lineup for Falls Festival this December and January, LA’s favourite noise pop trouble-makers Wavves have today announced they’ll be bringing the ruckus to Sydney and Melbourne for headline shows this January.

The brainchild of frontman Nathan Williams will be making their fourth trip Down Under to play shows at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Max Watt’s on Saturday, 2nd January and Sunday, 3rd January.

The band previously endeared themselves to Australian fans through searing performances at Splendour In The Grass and Groovin’ The Moo, as well as their own national headline dates. This time around, they’ll have a brand new album, V, to unleash on fans.

Known for their wild onstage presence and fuzzy rock throw-downs, Wavves are one of the most exciting acts to emerge from LA in recent memory and you’ll find out why this January. Readers can check below for all dates and ticketing details.
