The organisers of The Hills Are Alive 2016 have just unleashed the stacked lineup for their 8th annual gathering amongst the scenic hills of South Gippsland, bringing a selection of the best up-and-coming live acts in the country.

Kicking things off this year are Adelaide rockers Bad//Dreems, homegrown soul talent Ngaiire, much buzzed-about alt-rockers Tired Lion, psychedelic Brisbane natives The Belligerents, electronic wunderkind E^st, triple j favourite KLP, and more.

Best of all, these 18 acts, which you can check out below, are just the beginning. There’s a whole lot more to come soon, so you can be sure this three-day (two-night) boutique music and camping festival will be one to remember.

Taking place from 2pm Friday the 25th of March to 4pm Sunday 27th March (Easter Weekend), tickets to this year’s event are just $149 + bf each and run cheaper if you get them in a group. Camping is included and you can bring your own drinks.
