We’re in the depths of December now, which means for most publications it’s list season. Being partial to the occasional list ourselves so naturally we’ve created a list of the best Aussie music we had the pleasure of hearing this year.
We gave a shout out to our Tone Deaf writers and asked them to nominate and say a few words about their favourite local releases of 2015. No number games, no chart references, no politics – just music we loved – because ultimately that’s what it’s all about.
What we’ve got as a result is an incredibly eclectic mix of 21 records spanning genres, locations, and labels but all telling stories equally as impressive and moving as the next.
