After a successful sophomore event last year and an overwhelmingly positive reception to their initial lineup, the organisers of Mojo Burning Festival have now announced their full lineup for 2016.
Joining the esteemed likes of Bob Log III, Mason Rack Band, Jackson Firebird, and The Fumes will be Shaun Kirk, Born Lion, Topical Zombie, Smoke Stack Rhino, and The Free Loves.
All of these bands will be taking on Brisbane’s Hamilton Hotel on Saturday, 12th March as part of a guitar-heavy event that will see rock fans congregating to share some good vibes and plenty of good tunes.
“There are so many amazing Australian acts not being picked up by popular radio or the mainstream music media, particularly in Blues, Roots and Rock genres,” says Mojo Burning organiser Christian Tryhorn.
“For years I’ve been watching these acts on stages all around Australia crush their sets and be equal if not more vibing than many more ‘well known’ acts receiving regular industry backing.”
“We aim to pull together the Australian Blues, Roots and Rock scene through events such as this to help give bands a leg-up and are stoked with the 2016 Mojo Burning lineup. Not an average band on the bill.”
