Having teased us with a few hints of who to expect on the 2016 line up yesterday via their Twitter and triple j, Australia’s most loved regional festival Groovin The Moo has just unveiled their full 2016 line up.

The line up for the event’s 12 year is overflowing with local heroes and honorary Australians including internationals Danny Brown who visits Australia almost annually, Ratatat who were just in the country to perform at Meredith, MS MR who popped by in July last year for Splendour in the Grass and Twenty One Pilots who also visited the country on a headline tour last year.

On the local front, recently crowned Hottest 100 winners The Rubens, British India, DZ Deathrays and Boy & Bear will all be performing while Illy, Remi and Drapht will representing the  local hip hop contingent.

The biggest news however is that one of the most popular Groovin The Moo 2016 hopefuls former Australian Idol contestant Shannon Noll was not added to the line up even though he had confirmed via his Twitter that he’d be available to perform.

Kicking off at the University of Canberra on the 24th of April and trekking through Oakbank, Bendigo, and Townsville to make it to Hay Park, Bunbury on May 7th, tickets for each leg of the tour will be on sale Wednesday 3rd February at 9am local time. Suss out the full line up and poster below and pop by the Groovin website for more info.
