Today London based electinic artist Polygrains is unveiling the video for his track ‘Studio Pain’ – a cut from his EP Screen Fever released on Costa Levanda late last year.

Screen Fever is about the addiction to the screen, whether that is a television, a computer or a smartphone. According to Polygrains “The spectator is absorbed into this screen, partly dematerialised, partly zombified, always half present in the world, forever on standby, constantly alert to the next notification. But at the end, there’s nothing but memories of flickering and flashes of manic scrolling upwards and downwards, indistinct grainy pixels.”

Created by Irene Perez Hernandez (who designed the cover of the album too) the video to ‘Studio Pain’ follows the EP ethos, showing a graining digital screen rhythmically moving through its forms in time to the beat of the music.
