Since their inception in 2014, Perth shoegaze masters Dream Rimmy have done an awful lot. From supporting King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Preatures and sharing stages with You Am I, Birds of Tokyo and The Scientists as well as releasing a debut self-titled EP they’ve definitely wasted no time in becoming local favourites.
In typical Dream Rimmy super speed fashion, the crew are now about to release their new single ‘Waves’ which we’re premiering today. Fuzz laden and rolling with dreamy vocals, listening to the single it’s clear why they were featured as one of RTRFM’s most played 100 artists of 2015.
World-class shoesgaze rock with an undeniably local familiarity, the track was produced by the band and mastered by Rob Grant at Poons Head, ‘Waves’ will be officially released on the 19th February.
