Paul Dempsey has unveiled his latest single, ‘Morningless’, taken from his eagerly anticipated, forthcoming sophomore solo LP, which Dempsey recorded with Wilco and Ryan Adams producer Tom Schick and is set to drop later this year.

‘Morningless’ comes seven years since the Something For Kate frontman released his critically acclaimed solo debut album, Everything Is True, which made the top five on the ARIA Album Chart and received gold accreditation.

“There’s a desperation in this song that stems from the feeling of being far away from someone and urgently racing to get back to them, almost in defiance of the motion of the planet and the passing of day and night,” says Dempsey of the song.

To celebrate the release of ‘Morningless’ and the Alex Badham-directed music video, Dempsey will hit the road for a quick round of East Coast tour dates kicking off later this month at The Factory in Sydney (see below for details).
