It seems Ratatat just can’t get enough of Australia. Recently in the country for Meredith Music Festival and a string of acclaimed sideshows, the US duo are set to return this April to take the stage at Groovin The Moo 2016.
Fans will also get a chance to spend a little more one-on-one time with the Brooklyn-based rocktronica duo. They’ve just announced another run of Australian headline dates, hitting up Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.
The band are still hot on the heels of their acclaimed fifth studio album, Magnifique. The record follows on from the experimental sounds of their LP3 and LP4 releases, but includes a return to their core guitar-driven sound.
The album was recorded over the course of four years in various studios in different locations, including in Jamaica, upstate New York, Long Island, NY, and their home studio in Brooklyn. The result is an album that’s sure to get fans rabid for Ratatat once again.
