Some of the biggest bands of all time have been accused of being the opposite of eclectic, diverse, and varied, and what’s more, that’s precisely why their fans love them. Often bands who ditch a formula end up losing a lot of their fans.

We like to criticise bands and artists who “just keep releasing the same song over and over”, but sometimes this isn’t a weakness so much as it is a virtue. Then again, there’s Pitbull.
