The last word in one hit wonders, The Buggles, have announced that they’ll be reforming for a one off fundraising gig. The group, who smashed the charts with their novelty hit ‘Video Killed The Radio Star’ which went to No. 1 in 16 countries and became the first video to ever be played on MTV, actually never played live. The original trio featured Trevor Horn who went on to massive success with his electro wall of sound production for Frankie Goes To Hollywood, as well as Geoff Downes and Bruce Woolley who went on to form prog rock group Yes. The original trio will perform their debut album at a yet to be named west London venue next month, with funds raised going to the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.
