Prince’s Australian tour, which is set to paint the town purple next week, is officially sold out and you’re either humming ‘Raspberry Beret’ and eagerly awaiting The Purple One’s arrival or still weeping because you missed out on tickets.

Either way, the rock and pop icon needs your help to figure out just where he’s going after his performance at Melbourne’s State Theatre on Wednesday, 17th February is done and he’s open to any suggestions you can tweet his way.

“WHERE 2 HAVE THE AFTERPARTY IN MELBOURNE ON THE 17TH? THOUGHTS?” Prince recently tweeted to a swarm of delighted followers who immediately offered up the names of their favourite venues like The Toff, Bennetts Lane Jazz Club, and their own homes.

The hit-maker’s previous visits to Australia have seen him appearing at after-parties at Bennetts Lane, where he did an impromptu performance, Melbourne’s Hi-Fi Bar (albeit a very brief appearance), the Hi-Fi in Brisbane, and the Ivy Nightclub in Sydney.

As we reported yesterday, Prince took to Twitter to lay down a few ground rules for those attending his upcoming shows to follow, lest you feel the wrath of the Purple One. Before you ask, no, he doesn’t want you to bring him pancakes.

“All Australian shows now officially sold out,” the man behind some of pop culture’s most treasured songs wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “Also no mobile phones at any shows, or press photographers or media review tickets.”

Prince hasn’t yet confirmed where his Melbourne after-party will take place nor has he made any mention of after-parties in Sydney, but the rocker is predictably unpredictable and could reasonably show up anywhere at any time.
