Pop-punk upstart turned mature’ songwriter’s songwriter’ Elvis Costello has announced he’ll be releasing a new album at the end of October. Entitled National Ransom, the album was recorded at various sessions in Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee and produced by bluesman T-Bone Burnett. Showing that age and being married to Diana Krall will not weary him, the album comes not much more than a year after 2009’s Sacred, Profane & Sugarcane. The track listing runs:
