The only thing Melburnians love more than music is a night out and if that night out happens to feature music, maybe inside one of Melbourne’s most cherished and even infamous venues, all the better.

Of course, wrestling with the city’s notorious public transport system or suffering through the tumults of trying to hail a cab means Melburnians and ubiquitous ride-sharing app Uber are a natural fit.

So what’s the number one destination we like to Uber to and from? The Casino? The airport? The Rialto Towers? That ferris wheel thing down in Docklands that no one we know has actually used?

If you guessed any of these you’d be forgiven but wrong. “We’ve heard it through the grapevine that Revs is the Number One Uber’d spot in Melbourne,” the owner of Chapel St haunt Revolver Upstairs recently wrote, via Stoney Roads.

“More than the casino, any sporting arena, Fed Square, the gallery… Of ALL that Melbourne has to offer – more people catch Uber to / from Revolver and anywhere else in Melbourne. WOW. JUST. WOW.”

It’s not all that surprising, right? After all, as we said, Melburnians love their music regardless of what hour of the day or night it is (especially if it’s loud) and hitting a button is way more convenient than hiking it to the train station.

'REVOLVER, PLEASE DRIVER!'We've heard it through the grapevine that Revs is the Number One Uber'd spot in…
