If you’ve been hearing a lot about Violent Soho lately, there’s a good reason for that. Of course, we all know they’re one of Australia’s best rock bands, but they recently dropped their eagerly anticipated new album, WACO.

The album is the highly awaited follow-up to their breakthrough record, Hungry Ghost, and the band have been busy promoting the new album with music videos, interviews, a huge upcoming tour, and in-store meet-and-greets.

Most recently, bass player Luke Henery and drummer Michael Richards participated in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Reddit, answering questions about the band, their new album, their tour with DZ Deathrays and Dune Rats, and their feelings about the Aussie music scene.

We’ve gone ahead and picked out a few choice highlights for you down below, including who the two members think are the best bands in Australia right now. They also finally say what we’ve all been thinking about Silverchair for years now.
