If you’re reading this, there’s a chance you were one of the many, many punters left disappointed after the cancellation of Soundwave 2016, which quickly became a wound that just would not heal.

First there was the confusion about just who owed ticket-holders their refunds and then band after band confirmed the cancellation of their Australian tour plans, including headliners Disturbed and Bring Me The Horizon.

Thankfully, Bring Me The Horizon eventually came through with their own headline tour dates and it appears Disturbed are set to follow suit, if a Facebook event recently spotted by Music Feeds is anything to go by.

Fans had been pestering Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah about bringing the Chicago heavy metal veterans out to Australia for years now, so this is one that Disturbed followers have been waiting on for a while now.

“The news you’ve been waiting for is finally upon us,” Frontier Touring write, suggesting fans respond with ‘Going’ or ‘Interested’ to the Facebook event to receive a notification of all the tour details next Wednesday, 30th March at 7am AEDT.
