After some promising hints last week, heavy metal favourites Disturbed have officially announced they will be heading Down Under for an Australia-New Zealand tour later this year. Joining them for all Aussie dates will be Melbourne’s own Twelve Foot Ninja.

After embarking on a hiatus back in 2011, the Chicago four-piece unveiled their sixth LP, Immortalized, late last year, debuting at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and the band are currently rocking the ARIA Singles Chart with their cover of ‘The Sound Of Silence’.

Make no mistake about it, Disturbed have been on the wish list of Aussie heavy fans for some time and there’s no doubt the band are going to make it a worthwhile wait for everybody who nabs tickets, which are sure to fly fast.

Disturbed’s Australian tour kicks off this November in Perth, before hitting up Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Fans can expect to hear a mix of new tracks like ‘The Light’ and ‘The Vengeful One’ and old favourites like ‘Down With The Sickness’ and ‘The Stricken’.
