There’s just something about Fremantle that puts people in a romantic mood. This was certainly the case last night when Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes proposed to girlfriend Tuesday Cross onstage at local venue Metropolis.

As The Music reports, after the band completed a rendition of single ‘Complexity’ with Cross helping out on vocals and keys, Hughes invited her to the front of the stage, took out a ring, got down on one knew, and proposed.

Cross accepted Hughes’ proposals to many a ‘wooh’ and cheer from the crowd and could reportedly be spotted at the side of the stage for the remainder of the set, sobbing and calling loved ones to share the good news,

Fans shared the incredible moment on Instagram, whilst Hughes had previously taken to Instagram to announce the couple’s forthcoming nuptials, which suggests that was either a goof or a sign of what was to come at the Metropolis last night.

Hughes himself is an ordained minister in the Universal One Church and has married a total of 10 couples. In an interview with The Music last year, Hughes explained that he takes marriage “very seriously” and does not believe in divorce.

I asked Tuesday to marry me……she said YES!…….she said Yes!
