BIGSOUND, “the southern hemisphere’s biggest new music festival and music industry conference”, is set to return this year for what will be its 15th Anniversary event.
BIGSOUND 2016 is set to take place 7th – 9th September and a limited number of specially discounted early bird tickets are now available for purchase from just $350.
Artist registration is also open now, so don’t waste any time in adding yourself to the scores of prominent Australian artists who’ve used BIGSOUND as a platform to launch their careers.
The past 15 years have seen BIGSOUND give rise to the likes of Courtney Barnett, Flume, Rufus, Seth Sentry, Gang of Youths, DMA’s, Kingswood, Boy & Bear, The Temper Trap, and more.
For its 15th birthday, BIGSOUND will deliver three huge days and nights featuring 150 bands performing across 15 Fortitude Valley venues, as well as countless talks, panels, and discussions.
“2016 is a turning point in BIGSOUND’s history,” said QMusic Executive Officer Joel Edmondson. “Although we’re focused on adding new dimensions to the BIGSOUND experience, it’s also important that we look back on our roots and celebrate just how far we’ve come.”
