We may be alone in this, but for us, the dawn of a new year is basically a countdown to Record Store Day. Taking place on the third Saturday of April each year (happening this Saturday April 16th)  it’s a special day set aside to celebrate independent record stores, the little (but incredibly important) battler in the modern music industry.

We don’t have time for another press-clogging bloated copy of Dark Side of the Moon – what we want is the cool, super limited local stuff. To help ease you buying dilemmas we’ve collected 6 super interesting local RSD releases we reckon you should nab.

Check out the pick below and for more info what all the stores are up to check out this lil’ listing or pop by www.recordstoreday.com.au.
