Yarra City Council have today announced the return of their annual Leaps and Bounds Music Festival, which is set to enjoy its fourth year as a staple of the local Melbourne cultural and live music calendar.

Leaps and Bounds 2016 will see more than 50 venues in Fitzroy, Collingwood, Richmond, Abbotsford, North Carlton, Clifton Hill, and North Fitzroy hosting more than 300 events featuring around 900 performances.

What sets Leaps and Bounds apart from other community music festival is not only the diversity of the lineup, but the opportunities it gives punters to get up close and personal with their favourite artists.

Just take Emily Ulman and Davey Lane’s Tours of Yarra for example, which will see both musicians playing special shows across the municipality in intimate venues. Trust us, this one’s not to be missed.

Leaps and Bounds is set to run from Friday, 1st July till Sunday, 17th July, giving punters from around Melbourne a chance to experience unique live music events in some of the city’s best and most treasured venues.
