Everyone has that coworker that loves nothing more than regaling you with stories of just how messed up they got on the weekend, even though you didn’t ask them and really have no interest in hearing about it.

They usually bother you first thing on a Monday morning and then you have to suffer through them telling the exact same story (perhaps with a few embellishments) to your other co-workers throughout the day.

But there’s one Adelaide party animal whose weekend yarn we would gladly endure. As The Advertiser reports, an anonymous Adelaide punter had to be rescued after he woke up to find himself stuck on top of a Hindley St venue.

That on its own has the makings of a great story, but it gets better, oh does it get better. According to The Advertiser, the man found he was stuck on the roof of the Rocket Bar after he apparently passed out on the toilet.

Police and the local fire services were called to the Rocket Bar in Adelaide’s famous Hindley St precinct at around 6.30am yesterday, after the drunken partygoer panicked when he awoke inside the loo and found himself trapped on the roof.

Firefighters used the bucket on their truck’s ladder to bring the man down and rescue him from a real-life recreation of the first Hangover movie.

So the next time that nuisance coworker comes over uninvited to your desk, just show them this story and remind them that it doesn’t matter how many cans they smashed on Saturday, they will never party harder than this dude.
