For those of you who’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks, the Splendour In The Grass 2016 lineup dropped earlier this month and instantly became the most FOMO-inducing event in Australia.
The lineup had barely been announced when music fans took to social media en masse to complain about a lack of funds to make it to Byron Bay and offer their various vital organs in return for Splendour tickets.
However, it may not need to come to organ harvesting. The official mobile app for Splendour In The Grass recently dropped on the iPhone iOS and Android and amongst its many handy features, it boasts a #stuckonsplendour competition.
Basically, this year the Splendour app features stickers for your various pics and selfies. You can add all the little icons and emojis featured in the Splendour artwork to your pics, but you can also use them to enter the comp.
All you have to do is take or choose a photo using the Sticker Wall feature and slap on some of the Splendour stickers. Then simply upload your awesome creation to Instagram with the hashtag #stuckonsplendour and tag @splendourinthegrass and the three friends you wanna take to Splendour.
Ensure your Instagram profile is set to public and post your entry by 11:58am AEST Wednesday, 20th April 2016. The winner will be announced at 17:00pm AEST Wednesday, 20th April 2016 and if your pic is chosen, you and three mates will win free Splendour tickets.
Otherwise, tickets for Splendour go on sale at 9am Thursday, 21st April and they’re sure to sell out once again, so make sure you’ve sold your kidney by then.
