If you’re someone who’s looking to enter the Aussie music industry or is already established and looking to boost their knowledge and skills, RMIT’s Music Industry students want to help you do just that.

They’ll be running a series of four free seminars, with exclusive keynotes from industry, every Thursday this May. Each seminar will address pertinent issues facing the local music industry and its members.

You will get unique insights into the local music industry landscape and get hipped to avenues you can take to reach the top, whether you’re looking to excel in the field of band booking, management, or social media.

“We invite not only RMIT students but also students of other universities and the wider public, regardless of the role music plays in their lives, to come and learn from the people that make our industry tick,” organisers write.

“Join us Thursday mornings in May for an amazing open forum on our evolving music industry. With a series of sagacious and informative guests this could potentially provide a fantastic start to both your day and your career.”
