Bust out your finest threads and pointiest books as Tone Deaf kicks off another huge night of partying with the barnstorming swagger of The Checks, one of New Zealand’s biggest indie bands. Clocking up NZ tours with Oasis, Muse, AC/DC, The Hives and The Killers, the band are coming across to the West Island to launch their second album, Alice By The Moon. Trading explosive bluesy rock riffs reminiscent of their fellow countrymen The Datsuns, they’re going to be drenching the Ding Dong stage in sweat in their only Melbourne show.

Joining them for the night are the space rock squall of the narco-rock juggernaught of local poster boys The Demon Parade, taking a night out from their massive Australian tour, and the rock n’ roll pig skulduggery of Johnny Rock and the Limits. Warming things up with the scuzzed out howl of Fathoms and the epic rock hammer of The Villains Lair and this night is gonna make one of those Spring Break movies look like a garden tea party.

As well as being the official unofficial after party for The Klaxons, we’ve $10 jugs to get you loose before 10pm, and DJ Falco from Germany and the sexy Tone Deaf DJ crew breaking bones on the wheels of steel until the wee hours. Get your tickets now at www.dingdong.oztix.com.au
