Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ is the music video that launched a thousand memes, but Adelaide party crew So Far Gone decided to invite clubbers into Drizzy’s unique LED-lit world with a full-scale replica of the clip’s famous light box.

As Pedestrian.tv reports, the party-starters set up the light box replica inside Mr Kim’s nightclub in Crippen Place. The box was three weeks in the making, utilising 40 metres of lighting strips and fts. remote control.

“We [I and co-host Annabel Hartlett] wanted So Far Gone to be more than just a club night, and we wanted to do something that no one has ever done inside a club (to our knowledge),” club-owner Daniel Atkins told Pedestrian.tv.

Atkins got the idea to build a ‘Hotling Bling’ light box replica inside his venue after NBA team the Toronto Raptors, for whom Drake is their official ambassador, built their own for a ‘Drake night’ last November.
