Ladyhawke has announced she will make her return to Australian shores for her first tour in three years this July to celebrate the eagerly anticipated release of her new album, Wild Things, this June.
Wild Things is the first album Ladyhawke, real name Pip Brown, has released since 2012’s Anxiety and comes after several major changes in the talented songwriter and performer’s life.
“People wonder why there’s always a massive gap between my albums,” she says. “I’ve never released anything I’m not proud of. That’s important to me. I don’t want to release anything that I have a weird feeling about.”
Wild Things has been three years in the making, coming after Brown scrapped a full album and overcame a battle with alcohol. “I’d never done a sober show in my life until last December,” she says.
With a new outlook and a new collection of killer material, Ladyhawke will be touching down in July for a string of East Coast tour dates. Check below for all the dates and ticketing details.
