Whilst most listeners have welcomed to the addition of Queen Bey to the triple j playlist, some aren’t so sure about it.

Some have argued the spot could’ve been filled by a local band or artists who could use the exposure such a national platform offers.

Indeed, it seems a foregone conclusion that one simply can’t become a success in Australia’s music biz without triple j. But is that really true?
