this week Melbourne punks Bad Vision are gearing up to drop their brand new LP Turn Out Your Sockets (set for release this Friday the 6th of May) and it’s everything we’ve come to expect from the five piece.

A collection of short, sharp, guitar driven blistering proto-punk gems, Turn Out Your Sockets was Recorded at Purple Wayne studios in Collingwood by David West in a manic burst of energy one weekend in January 2015.

Overflowing with with pop hooks, razor-sharp chops and a mishmash of garage rock, punk and pop embellishments, according to the band it’s the album they always wanted to make (and they’ve done a pretty bloody fine job).

Check out the LP below and if you like what you’re hearing pop by www.badvision.bandcamp.com to pre-order the record.
