Anne-Marie is a London native best known for serving as the pipes for UK drum and bass outfit Rudimental, as well as her formidable solo career, which has yielded triple j-approved tracks like ‘Karate’ and ‘Do It Right’.

You can think of her fusion of electro, R&B, hip-hop, and pop as sort of like Ellie Goulding meets Charli XCX, with plenty of extra attitude thrown in. But it’s her golden voice that really inspires awe among fans and newcomers.

Anne-Marie recently hit up the triple j studios to lay down a rendition of ‘Do It Right’ and a Like A Version cover of SAFIA’s melancholic ‘Listen To Soul, Listen To Blues’ and we have no doubt it will absolutely blow you away.

As we’ve previously noted, this year’s Like A Version series has gotten off to an interesting start – we’ve seen a heart-wrenching David Bowie cover, an ambitious mash-up from this year’s Hottest 100 winners, a deeply divisive cover of a huge hit from 2015, and a cover that showed us what Like A Version is meant to be.
