As we’ve previously covered, beloved and iconic Australian children’s television staple Play School is celebrating an incredible 50 years on the air and no one’s more excited than triple j.

They recently partnered with Play School to launch a special remix competition, giving fans the chance to put their own spin on the show’s immortal theme tune, ‘There’s A Bear In There’.

It’s caused a little controversy, with The Daily Telegraph recently hitting out at the station and their competition for supposedly corrupting “a sacred slice of the Australian cultural soundtrack”.

Or, y’know, it’s just a bit of fun and we’re all excited to hear the remixes coming in. Well, except for triple j host Alex Dyson’s. He just unveiled his own and it’s… well it’s… yeah, it’s not good.

It starts off kind of bad, gets worse in the middle, and finishes very poorly. In fact, it even gets a little disturbing at times. Check it our for yourselves below, if you dare.
