Today we have the pleasure of premiering ‘Strangers’ the brand new single from new Hobart musician Low Downs.

The new project of Elliot Taylor, previously the frontman of Tassie indie rock crew Tiger Choir, Low Downs sees Taylor swapped the apple aisle for the (organic) apple aisles of Melbourne to make new electronic work.

Addictively smooth and soothingly down tempo, ‘Strangers’ is a stunning introduction to Taylor’s new journey into hip-hop, RnB, electronica, spoken-word.

Influenced by the progressive sounds of Alan Kingdom, Donchristian, Shabazz Palaces, and Clipping Low Downs will be releasing a debut EP titled Bookended a little later in the year.

Check out the impressive single below and if you like what you’re hearing stay locked to the Low Downs Facebook page for more info on upcoming shows and releases.
