We’ve said it before and now we’ll have to say it again, rage, the ABC’s late-night weekend music video staple, has been absolutely killing it this year with a never-ending stream of awesome specials and guest programmers.

We’ve sadly lost a number of our favourite musical heroes over the past six months and rage have been there for us with awesome tributes to Motorhead frontman Lemmy, David Bowie, and two tributes to the late great Prince.

We’ve also seen guest programming spots from the likes of DMA’s, the Milk! Records crew (Jen Cloher, Courtney Barnett, and Fraser A Gorman), and even a Recovery special courtesy of the boys from Queensland rockers Violent Soho.

Now, they’ve gone and recruited Dune Rats, who are currently ripping it up on tour with Violent Soho and DZ Deathrays on the WACO tour (unofficially known as the Violent Death Rats tour), to do “something” on air from midnight tonight.

Sounds like they’ll be guest programming to us and here’s hoping it’s a night’s worth of Dune Rats-curated music videos. Either way, we know we’ll be staying in and glued to the tube tonight.

These washed up cunts are doing something on Rage tonight from 12. Check it!
