Melbourne stoner fuzz rockers Devil Electric are today unveiling the brand new video for their blistering single ‘The Dove & The Serpent’.

Combining riffs of the old and new in a collision of unholy matrimony, the latest effort from the gritty rock collective drowns the listener in fuzzy guitar distortion, rumbling bass and heart pounding drums.

After wrapping up an interstate tour with Indonesia’s The SIGIT, Devil Electric enlisted the services of photographer Wren Steiner for this, their debut video clip. Edited by Rebecca Riley and shot over the course of two weekends, ‘The Dove & The Serpent’ emphasises the need for a balance of darkness and light, and the weight of decisions that accompany that balance.

‘The Dove & The Serpent’ is part of the band’s debut 7” release titled The Gods Below (Vol I). To celebrate the launch of the 7″ Devil Electric will be hosting a show at The Penny Black, Friday June 24 alongside the one and only Dallas Frasca, for more info visit the event page or the band’s Facebook page.
