Following years of widespread regional touring Josh Rawiri’s soulful sounds are reaching stereos across every nook and cranny of Australia.

the well-travelled Sydney songwriter is today unveiling his latest effort ‘My Call’ a result of 18 months of touring with an evolving musical mob, turning heads at popular festivals and crafting a handful of new singles for an upcoming album.

Translating his powerful live performances into a track that’s bursting with electric energy and spirit, ‘My Call’ is the most developed and enthralling songwriting we’ve heard from Rawiri.

‘My Call’  sees the musician tackling brooding themes of temptation, trust, infidelity, touring and long-distance relationships. “I wrote this song driving late at night, after many weeks on the road away from family.” Rawiri explains.

“No mobile phone, my only point of contact the odd phone booth – so much relies on trust when you live two separate lives, it’s easy to let our vulnerable imaginations run wild.”
