You know Splendour In The Grass has an unbelievably sick lineup, we don’t have to tell you that. But they offer punters even more than just exclusive performances from bands like The Strokes and The Avalanches.
As with every year, Splendour Arts offers punters an unbeatable program of arts and crafts workshops and tutorials, as well as a curated contemporary art experience that in the past has featured giant Lion Richie heads.
Also, organisers want you to eat poop.
Huh? Oh, yeah, eat poop. Mr Poopie takes its inspiration from the iconic poop emoji and offers Splendour punters a unique and simultaneously delicious and disgusting ice cream experience, one we’re sure you won’t forget.
“Everybody poops and everybody likes ice cream. Coincidence? Mr Poopie thinks not,” the folks behind the project write. “Jump in and marvel at the indulgent and delicious substance excreting from the ice cream dispensers.”
This is in addition to a one-of-a-kind showcase of contemporary art curated by internationally exhibited artist Craig Walsh and the return of Splendour In The Craft, which will feature workshops from some of Australia’s best craft masters.
