Australian music icon and Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garett has announced a string of intimate headline solo tour dates set to kick off this July to celebrate the release of his new album, A Version of Now.

Garrett will be playing small clubs and theatres for the first time since his early days with Midnight Oil. “Getting up close and physical is what live performance is all about. Being back on stage and playing these new songs will be a blast,” he said.

Martin Rotsey from the Oils will be on guitar, Mark Wilson from Jet on bass, and Peter Luscombe (Rockwiz, Paul Kelly, Black Sorrows) on drums, with Rosa Morgan (Red Ghost) joining in on keyboards.

Acclaimed WA singer-songwriter Abbe May will be joining the tour, completing the lineup of Garrett’s all-star band as well as opening each night with a solo set on all dates except Darwin. Check out the full tour details below.
