Following on from their stunning debut single ‘Oracle’, Central Coast based duo Chymes (multi-instrumentalist Cameron Taylor and vocalist Kiersten Nyman) are today unveiling their latest effort ‘Clouds’ a cut from their upcoming EP Grow.

A delicate three and a half minute journey into the world of the sophisticated pop ‘Clouds’ is mesmerizing in its minimal composition. The single showcases Chymes’ uncanny ability to utilise sonic space and harness the power of silence.

“’Clouds’ alludes to the idea that sometimes our own perceptions and expectations of ourselves get in the way of allowing us to become vulnerable to someone or something. It suggests embracing the excitement of uncertainty and implies that the feeling of being exposed isn’t such a bad thing” the duo explain.

Ahead of their debut EP release Chymes are offering Sydney fans a chance to catch them live, with a show on June 10th at Oxford Arts Factory and a month long residency every Wednesday night in July at Surry Hills’ The White Horse, for all the info visit the band’s Facebook page.  You can also pre Order Grow via Apple Music and iTunes.
