The Smith Street band should be exhausted from their unyielding global tour schedule, but they’re making one more run around their homeland to celebrate the success of their latest album, Throw me In The River.
The tour is pretty much all sold out except for a second Perth show, but frontman Will Wagner is doing the fans one better by announcing two very special solo shows in Melbourne and Sydney this August.
Taking on Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, these dates will mark the biggest solo shows the singer and songwriter, who’s known for his cathartic and emotional performances, has played to date.
Joining Wil for both shows will be good mate and New York native Jeff Rosenstock (Bomb The Music Industry!). Jeff previously joined Wil on tour in Australia and the US and produced Throw Me In The River.
