Axl Rose may be busy fronting AC/DC at the moment, but that doesn’t mean he’s put the reformation of the band that made him a rock and roll icon on the back-burner. Guns N’ Roses still have a lot up their sleeve.

And according to rumours floating around, one of those secret ace cards may just be an Australian tour early next year. As Alternative Nation reports, rumours have surfaced Gunners are planning a trip Down Under for January.

A member of the MyGNR Fan Forum recently took to the site to claim that he’d recently met “Fernando”, a member of the band’s management company, Team Brazil, and the GNR staffer was nice enough to reveal the band’s upcoming plans.

“He’s confirmed Europe will be 2017! Having a meeting tomorrow to confirm things,” user kanecrescente, who shared an image of himself with Fernando, wrote. “South America this year, Australia January, Japan February.”

Of course, this is all rumours at this point, but it wouldn’t be the first time in recent memory there’s been claims that Guns N’ Roses, who haven’t toured Australia in 25 years, are planning a visit Down Under soon.

The band kicked off their reunion tour a couple months back to rave reviews and Axl’s turn as AC/DC frontman has likewise received some very flattering words from even the most cynical of critics.
