They defined a scene and encapsulated a moment in time, now veterans of the industry The Dandy Warhols are set to return to Australian shores again to celebrate the release of their latest album, Distortland.
Giving Aussie fans their first chance to hear material from the new record performed live, the band’s upcoming Australian shows will see them trekking around the country, including stops in Perth, Adelaide, and Canberra.
Recorded in frontman Courtney Taylor’s basement on an ’80s cassette recorder, Distortland is “organized like a pop record but still has the sonic garbage still in there”, a testament to the band’s timeless sound.
