Melbourne’s Camp Cope have had an incredible year. They’d only been together for a matter of months before they hit the Top 40 of the ARIA Albums chart with their self-titled debut album and sold-out their album launch shows.

However, as successful as the shows were, they also highlighted a serious issue in the culture of Australian live music and you can see it unfold in the band’s new music video for ‘Done’, the latest single taken from the LP.

“The 1:33 mark in the video captures me calling out the aggressive men who were ‘just trying to enjoy’ themselves, while compromising the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of those around them,” singer Georgia Maq said in a statement.

“Rest assured, as long as we’re on stage and have a platform to have our voices heard, we will always call out this behaviour.” Since forming, the band have become renowned for the safe environment they create at their gigs, especially for women.
