After a year of writing and recording that’s also seen him taking a few detours and collaborating with the likes of Set Mo, Melbourne multi-instrumentalist Fractures is getting back to his roots with a live acoustic recording of his new track ‘Wake Up’.

He’s always been in possession of a beautiful voice, and it’s even more evident in a stripped-back setting as he gradually builds emotion with the help of a single guitar. He’ll be joined by a full band, however, when he begins touring in support of his debut album this year.

Fractures was scheduled to play at the soon-to-be-closed Shebeen on July 1, but you can catch him instead at the Workers Club on Friday July 8. More info can be found on the event page.
